Description
Own a rare American Classic! 1954 Chevrolet Corvette
Roadster. Clean title in hand. This is number 2,204 out of 3,640. She’s super
clean with little to no body dings. Power by a small block 283 with a TH350.
The shorty headers and cherry bomb exhaust sound amazing. Chrome 15” Chevy
Rally wheels and cockpit cover. I’m selling her because she doesn’t get driven
enough. I’d rather someone else enjoy her and drive her vice sitting in the
garage. Her flaws are: small oil leak at the rear seal, differential has a
leak, slight hesitation when she shifts and the turn signal
lever does not auto cancel (all lights work). The gaskets need replacing and
the carburetor probably needs cleaning; nothing major.
History I know of: There was a frame off restoration started around 2010 by the previous owner. They didn’t finish the entire car. They spent A LOT of money in the body, motor and transmission. I believe the mileage on the odometer of 3,300 is the mileage since the rebuild. All gauges work except the speedometer (recent problem). I installed Edelbrock 650 (1406) carburetor, front bumperettes, wire harness, original style steering wheel and add electrical fan around 2014. I installed the fan because she was in a couple parades. Replaced one differential gasket, valve cover gaskets, added and converted the points to electric in 2015.
The unfinished things or items I’ve noted are: seats are not original, doesn’t have a top, interior dog legs by the seat, side molding, 4 piece bumpers on the corners, window curtains or rear license plate plexiglass. I have a used rear license plate bezel and some used molding.
I’m straight shooter so I’m not looking to rip anyone off. I have 600+ positive reviews with zero negatives or neutrals. Feel free to inspect her yourself or order an inspection. This link is the original video for the car. I’ve changed a few things, but she sounds the same.
