1980 Chevrolet Corvette

1980 Chevrolet Corvette for sale by owner . I am the third owner of this vehicle and have owned it for about four years . The previous owner purchased the car from a Ford dealer in 1996 where it was traded in for another vehicle . The second owner had the vehicle until 2013 when he traded the car in for the new C7 corvette . I purchased this vehicle from the Chevy dealer where he purchased his new car . Original 350 engine with original tranny which has a shift kit .
The second owner did alot of work to the car to always keep it up , including all new poly bushings for the entire suspension . In 1998 the original engine was pulled and rebuilt to 383 specifications which included prepping the block , custom 383 crank , Clevite 77 bearings , new harmonic balancer and flywheel , Wolverine can and lifters , Cloyes double roller timing chain , Roller rockers and new pushrods , Melling high volume oil pump , World products S/R torquer , stainless steel valves , Weiand Acton Plus intake manifold , Q-jet carb by Tom Toal , Carter fuel pump , ceramic coated headers , the cost was $5400 in 1998 not including the labor to reinstall .
In 2004 the car was repainted charcoal gray , the color is from 2003 - 04 Audi TT . I have the receipt and it cost $4800 in 2004 , so it was done right .
I have all the receipts and photos from everything the second owner did and it is too much to list .
When the car was traded int the dealer converted the A/C to R134 and it blows ice cold , the fan works on all speeds . The transmission was also pulled and resealed with new gaskets , filter and fluid .
Since I have owned the vehicle I have done the following :
Differential service with GM fluid
New distributor , spark plugs and wires
New thermostat and flushed the radiator with new fluid
New rear leaf spring
New power steering cylinder
Carburetor was thoroughly cleaned out
New glass T-Tops , they are stunning .
Tinted all the windows with 3M tint .
There are no leaks of any king and this car is right .
I also installed an Alpine stereo with bluetooth , 300 watt alpine amp , rockford fosgate rear speakers that have custom boxes and sounds incredible .
I have receipts for everything and there was a lot more done to the car than I can list here .
This car is nice and I planned on keeping it but I am buying a new 1LE camaro and can not
keep both .
