Description
1970 Corvette convertible!!!
This is a beautiful 1970 L46 corvette. She starts and rides like a dream. Marlboro maroon, new brakes, beige soft top and black hard top included. Rally wheels. 4 speed manual transmission. This is the last year for the high output engines and front and back classic vette chrome bumpers.
When I purchased it 10 years ago I was told it was numbers matching but I can not authenticate that. There is no stamp on the front engine pad but early production 1970 corvettes had been stamped underneath the car. In either case this car is in great shape and is a solid investment that any corvette enthusiast would certainly enjoy it.
Compare this to other similar listings, this car has lower miles and is in super condition at 48 years old. Only 6,648 convertibles made in 1970 and even fewer were 350HP. This is a survivor. The value of this car will just keep increasing. I am only selling as I have to put some kids through college! This is a very special car. Check this against Nada and other classic car value sites. It easily lists for 40-50K, It is priced to sell. Great car for the money. If you are in the market for a classic corvette here is your opportunity. Don't let it slip away. Enjoy the summer in this head turner. Great day for a ride in the Vette!
Reasonable offers entertained, serious buyers only please.
When I purchased this car in 2008 the previous owner told me this: THE MILES WERE ORIGINAL MILES, ALSO THE INTERIOR IS ALL FACTORY-NEVER REFURBISHED. THE CAR HAS HAD A REPAINT 20 YEARS AGO. SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN STORED FOR 15 YEARS AFTER THAT UNTIL THE OWNER THAT TRADED IT IN BOUGHT THE CAR. AFTER HE BOUGHT THE CAR THE CARB FLOODED OUT SO HE PULLED THE MOTOR OUT AND HAD IT PROFESIONALLY BUILT. BORED .030 OVER, DART IRON HEADS, COMP CAM XE284H GROUND THUMPIN CAMSHAFT, ALUMINUM INTAKE, 650 HOLLEY 4 BARREL CARB, HOOKER SUPER COMP HEADERS, MSD IGNITION SYSTEM, LOTS OF MONEY SPENT. The previous owner stated this was a NUMBERS MATCHING(I am not able to confirm this, thus the lower price). IT RUNS SMOOTH, SOUNDS AWESOME,AND HAS TONS OF POWER.
