1973 Chevrolet Corvette Factory Matching Numbers LS4 454 paired to the original 4 Speed manual.
This is one beautiful Tuxedo Black Corvette! The car went through a partial restoration 7 years ago. The engine and trans were pulled and rebuilt. The suspension and the steering components were all replaced. The car was also painted during this time.
The engine was given a COMP Cams Big Mutha Thumpr Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft Complete Kit Lift .517"/.502" Duration 295/313 RPM Range 2500-6400. The heads were ported and polished. A Edelbrock Performer RPM Polished aluminum intake was installed along with a Holley 750 double-pumper. The factory exhaust manifolds are paired to side pipes that sound amazing. The engine is right around 400HP.
The car was repainted from the original red paint to Tuxedo Black. The car shows very well and has a beautiful shine. It's not perfect though and has been driven. This is not a show queen that was trailered to car shows. It does have a few small rock chips from driving but nothing unusual. There is one small imperfection on the hood. I think a tool was shut under the hood. It is represented in one of the photos.
The car drives out fantastic. Its fast and handles well for its age. All the suspension and steering components were replaced during the restoration.
Recently the entire HVAC system was replaced with Vintage Air system and has a 10 year Warranty. The AC blows nice and cold. All the controls in the center console were replaced with brand new OEM parts.
The headlight lift system for pop ups was upgraded to electric motors replacing the problematic vacuum system. The entire brake system was serviced and new rotors and pads were installed.
The wheels are Riddler 18s with 245 in the front and 275 in the rear. The tires have around 5K miles on them. They look like new tread. This is a great running and driving car. Its fast and very responsive. The car shifts tight and crisp. It has more lots of torque and sounds amazing!
