1972 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 350 Four SpedFor sale is a all matching numbers, highly documented Classic white with lipstick red interior, just like the original 53 was. This car comes with two books full of paper work and pictures. Including window sticker, build sheet, tank sticker, protector plate, and every receipt for all works done.
The Roadster still sports it’s original paint and exterior chrome and was invited to the Pinehurst Concourse as an all original car and received a gold coin award. Although I love originality I decided to clean up under hood which turned into a complete restoration of everything under hood. Everything was replaced or rebuilt to show quality look at the pictures this work was also documented with pictures. Then i decided to go inside and make it all new replacing door panels and restoring most of the rest. While inside clock was replaced and an original appearing radio installed that has Bluetooth.
Over the years almost every thing has been replaced and upgraded you can see all in the receipts Trail that comes with car.
The ride is excellent with it’s upgraded KYB shocks and rear fiberglass spring.
The engine ignition has been upgraded to a MSD box I got the black box and hid it in fender well so everything looks original, but runs like a modern car.
The carb was refreshed by Carolina Carburetors to show quality.
Rear axle ratio is 3:36 for good power and crusing.
Remember this is a car loved and enjoyed by its owners. Not a car lot special. It has the most documentation of any corvette I’ve seen and I own many corvettes including a NCRS 5 Star Bow tie winner. And this 72 has more docs.
