Description
This 1962 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is finished in Honduras Maroon over black. The 327ci V8 and Borg Warner T10 4-speed manual transmission are original. Electronic ignition was added, and a new carburetor, master cylinder, fuel pump, sending unit, and suspension bushings. This example also benefits from reupholstered seats and a newer soft top.
The car was repainted in Honduras Maroon just before I purchase it in 2014. Two wheels were replaced with newer rims, but the originals are included in the sale. The black soft top was replaced around six years ago.
The interior remains stock with a factory Wonderbar radio. The dashpad has a bump on the passenger-side and is separating. All gauges are working properlyk. The odometer shows about 9,700 miles, though true mileage is unknown.
