this 1978 Chevrolet Corvette 25th Anniversary has sustained its desirability well after America's sports car celebrated it's silver anniversary with the commemorative silver paint. oyster interior, T-Tops, automatic transmission and a V-8 under the hood. Its a great Vette that will turn heads and put that smile on your face. Its a great car for just cruising down the strip or to give it a little gas and go. Nothing compares to that sound of a 350 engine.
Since I bought her 4 years ago (2015) I have driven her very little in the summer months. My motorcycle gets first priority on the beautiful summer days. And when the Insurance goes to winter storage in the middle of October, thats when she gets tucked away for the cold season in the garage, covered and trickle charged until about mid April.
This is the maintenance of done to it so far while owning it:
Upper ball joints
lower ball joints
Idler arm
outer bearing
inner bearing
inner seal
outer seal
visteon steering cylinder pressure valve
visteon steering cylinder
rear spring mounts
universal joints
transmission shaft front and back
dual exhaust system front to back
water pump
transmission filter and gasket
transmission flush
replaced T-Top seals
so the things i haven't gotten to yet that could be replaced.
Odometer, speedometer which haven't worked since i bought it and the odometer is stuck at 64,000 miles.
the heater lever is also stuck and wont move.
touch up paint here and there
the stereo has a am/fm cd player. It works but it's not the original stereo which, unfortunately, didn't come with it when i bought it.
I bought it to help a friend out for $7,500 and put over $3,000 into it. Im moving into a place that doesn't have a garage and would like it to go to a good home or else i would hang on to it for a lot longer.
I would require a $500 non refundable deposit via pay pal. The balance is due in full within 3 days
Wire transfer, cash or bank/cashier check at time of pick up. I am not a dealership and do not accept trades or provide financing. I do not provide shipping services but will assist your carrier with loading the vehicle
