Description
1970 Chevrolet Corvette.
This 1970 Corvette was recently obtained from an estate that had several collector cars. It is quipped with a 350 C.I.D. Classic Chevy small block engine that is mated to the durable THM400 automatic transmission. Also equipped with a posi-traction rear end. Power options on this car consist only of power steering. Windows and brakes are all manual and no air conditioning. The Corvette has the desirable T-Tops for Summertime cruising and a CD player to crank out the tunes along the way. Also has the luggage rack for those long drives that require luggage or coolers. The car was originally maroon and painted this copper color it is adorned in now by the previous owner. The seats have been reupholstered since the acquisition and look beautiful. The car goes down the road pretty well overall. Most every thing operates as it should. However it does have some areas of attention needed. Upper control arm bushings need replacing and are included in the sale. A new hood cable, and shift cable are on the agenda as is the radiator. The paint job is a personal one consisting of several imperfections and should be redone at some point along with new weather-stripping all around which for a car of this age is normal.
All this said this is a chrome bumper Corvette that can be driven pretty much as it sits with a few things done for the up coming season. It is a great "20 footer" as we say and would be welcome as is at any cruise night. Car is also very solid underneath. A turn key car now for the and restore as you drive if you wish.
Now the not so fine fine print. The Corvette is sold with no warranty written or expressed. I have described the vehicle to the best of our knowledge but as with any car of it's age other issues may or may not pop up. I do have a video of the car running that I cannot post here but can text or email to you upon request. I am listing this for a friend who is not on eBay so I will do my best to answer questions as quickly as possible.
The winning bidder will have 48 hours to send along a non refundable $200.00 deposit via Paypal. We will NOT arrange a shipper for the buyer, but will work with a shipper the buyer hires as far as time and day of pick up. Vehicle of course must be paid in full and all funds cleared before vehicle and title is released to buyer.
Good Luck and happy bidding.
