Description
This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette coupe was purchased by the seller in August 1975 and has been driven just 7k miles since. In 1976, the automatic transmission was replaced with a 4-speed manual from a 1964 Corvette, a swap that initiated a refurbishment not completed until 1991. Work included sandblasting the frame, repainting the body in Nassau Blue, and having a Corvette specialist rebuild the numbers-matching 327ci V8. The original cast iron intake manifold and steel valve covers have been replaced with an aluminum “snowflake” intake and aluminum valve covers from a 1965 327ci Corvette V8.
