Description
Fresh paint on complete restoration . The emblems/badges/letters (included) haven't been reinstalled in case the new owner wants shaved look.
Chrome in very good condition except rear bumpers starting to peel .
New leather seat covers .
New pile carpeting throughout .
The BBC engine is a '66 Chevelle 396 and has been significantly lightened .
Offenhauser intake and headers means the front needs lowered . That will be left to the new owner's spring preference.
Tires new Goodyear . Rally wheels left in primer .
Car drives well at highway speeds with no shake . Steering is firm and tracks straight.
All the vacuum operated appurtenances; wiper door, headlight doors work fine .
The ignition has been upgraded to HEI . So the tacho is not connected.
Brakes have been converted to DOT5 fluid .
The Speedo works but is inaccurate . Usually caused by over greasing the cable . Needs cleaned .
Clock inop. All the small gauges work . Even some of the fiber optics work .
The convertible top frame is included in the auction . That way you can install your preferred color top .
