1978 Chevy Corvette- all new.I bought this car 3 years ago and have been painstakingly restoring it.The gentlement that I bought it from said the 400cc Chevy Engine was newly rebuilt and recently installed but had been sitting for 4 years as he had suffered some health set backs and was unable to work on it.I had the valves, seats and guides cleaned and recalibrated / adjusted, just as a precaution, by a professional Hot Rod Shop, since it had been sitting so long I also had the transmission professionally rebuilt. The car has a brand new 650 Holley 4bbl Carb, and new dual exhaust by Flowmaster. It has been upgraded to a digital guage cluster, has new tires, new brakes, new carpet, new interior (seats and door panels), new weather stripping, new everything.I have receipts for nearly all the parts and work that has been put into it.Heat and AC work.Windows are automatic and all work.It has a new Stereo, amp and speakers all professionally wired and installed.Even the interior panels to the Ttops are new.The car growls deep and I can email videos for anyone interested in seeing and hearing it run. The odometer reading on the title is 92,006 miles, but againeverything has been rebuilt or is newso I am listing it as 200 mileswhen truly it is like maybe 20 miles on the car since the restoration has been completed. Also since all the guages were replaced, no way to see the original miles anyhow. The car also has a new full alignment (completed 08/03 and a VA State Inspection. In full disclosure, there are three things wrong with this vehicle:1) The rear turn signals do not work.We have done everything to trace the problem and can't find it.Mechanic thinks it may need a new column.2) Headlight motors occassionally glitch. These are new electrical motors that I bought to replace the original vacuum mechanisms.Sometimes they work.Sometimes they only bring up one light.Sometimes neither light comes up.Each time it has been a problem, it has been remedied by switching them to a down position and then switching up again.3) The car is not comfortable for tall people over 6 feet tall.I am 6'2" and the only way I can drive the vehicle is either hunched over or with the Ttop off.If you are tall and want this car, be prepared to swap out the seats.Of interesting note: I spared no expense in making this car look aggressive, mean and sharp.Every accesory peice (mirrors, door handles, window trim, trim around t-tops, and parts of the interior are professionally hydro dipped to look like matte flat black carbon fiber.Even hydrodipped the wheels (crazy expensive). There are a few minor areas of the window trim where the hydro has chipped a bit as you can see in pics.Easily fixed with a Sharpy. My loss is your gain, as I easily have $25K if not $30K into this car.I hope who ever buys it appreciates an old school American Muscle Car and has an absolute blast driving it.Get's a lot of double takes and wonderful compliments.Buyer must pick up or arrange for pick up and shipping from Nokesville, VA.Clean title in hand.Car is in great condition but sold as is with no warranties expressed nor implied.Happy Bidding!
