Description

This 1954 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is Powered by its original 155HP 3.8L OHV I-6 Blue Flame Engine, paired with a recently rebuilt Powerglide Automatic Transmission. This Beauty is an original Pennant Blue Exterior car, one of 300 built in 1954. It has a Tan Interior which is not the correct, original color but I liked the look so I left it. I have the correct interior lacquer paint that can go with the car. It is Non-Smoking and has always been Garage Kept.
All Original, Numbers Matching
Starts right up and runs very nicely. Speedometer, tachometer and all gauges work except for the fuel gauge. I installed a fuel gauge under the dash which will give you an estimate, not very accurate. I make a point of driving this car most weekends and it has never let me down. Beside rebuilding the transmission, I had the water pump rebuilt, converted the car to 12 volt with all new wiring harness, Pertronix ignition, and a PowerMaster alternator which has the appearance of an original generator. Brakes recently rebuilt along with new wheel bearings, shocks and rear leaf springs. The 3 carburetors where also just rebuilt. The car was repaint a long time ago and the paint is poor, (see pictures). However I liked to leave it as original as I could. Also has a new set of Coker WW tires. The convertible top is new but wasn't install correctly and will need fixing. Has the original window curtails which are in very good condition. Hate to see her go but I have other projects ahead of me.
You can email any questions and the corvette can be seen in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida by appointment. Buyer will be responsible for pickup or shipping. A deposit of $1000 will be required within 48 for the winning bidder.
