As one of only 500 examples built, this one is finished in 'Corvette Racing Yellow' exterior paint over a 'Jet Black' suede and leather interior, and shows only 2,700 miles. From the factory, the C7.R Edition of the C7 Z06 is loaded with optional equipment, notably beginning with the Z07 Performance Package. On the Z06, the Z07 Performance Package provides Carbon Ceramic Brake Calipers, GM's Level 3 Aero Kit, and Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires, which together create a tempting proposition to visit your local racetrack. In addition, the C7.R is characterized by several cosmetic features as well, starting on the exterior with Yellow-striped wheels, Corvette Racing Wheel Center Caps, Yellow Brake Calipers, and Special Corvette Racing graphics on the Trunklid, Carbon Fiber Roof, and Carbon Fiber Hood Insert. Furthermore, exposed carbon fiber finishes are carried through to the front splitter, as well as the side ground effects.
Moving into the interior, the C7.R provides more details exclusive to this specific special edition, such as C7.R-crested Competition Seats, a Suede Steering Wheel, Yellow Contrast Stitching, and Special C7.R badging upon the center controls stack and door sills. Suede Alcantara® finishes continue from the steering wheel onto the door armrests, center console, shift boot, and even onto the seat inserts. Like all C7 Z06s, the C7.R Edition is fitted with the LT4 6.2L Supercharged V8, pushing out 650hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. With this example optioned with the 8-speed Paddle Shift Automatic Transmission, gear shifts can be managed through a quick flick of a paddle. A rowdy quad-tip exhaust system emits a uniquely-Corvette soundtrack, and Corvette's famous Head-up Display is also present.
