1975 Corvette Stingray Coupe
2 sets of T-tops (body color and clear window type)Vehicle is in excellent condition cosmetically and mechanicallyInspections and in-person viewings are encouragedThis vehicle has had a lot of work done to it over the yearsRebuilt engine with high performance partsLumpy comp cam (cam card in picture)KB pistons, aluminum heads, port matched aluminum intake, holley double pump carb, MSD ignition, high flow electric thermostatically actuated fanRebuilt AC system (blows very cold!)TKO 600 5 speed overdrive transmission from Classic Chevy 5 speed: Fresh silver paint (shiny, no orange peel) and new fiberglass (not flexible urethane) bumpers in 2011. Bilstein shocks and TRW monoleaf spring in rearNew disc brake calipers, pads, and rotors in 2013 as well as new control arm bushingsNew steering box in 2012, and alignment. Tracks straight, no pulling, tight steeringThis is a well loved Corvette with a history of owners who have not spared any expenses in maintenance or upgrades. This is not a stock 180hp 1975 Corvette. The engine has been built, and with 371 horsepower to the rear wheels, it really moves. The transmission was also upgraded to a more modern 5 speed unit with an overdrive 5th gear. This transmission, with 3.55 gears in the posi rear, make driving on the highway both quiet and comfortable. At 70 mph, you are only doing 2200 RPM or so. AC has been converted to R134a and blows cold. The upgraded radiator and electric fan keep the car cool, it never runs hot and never overheats, even in prolonged traffic idling on the hottest summer days.
