Description

I am selling my 2002 Millennium Yellow C5 Corvette 6-speed manual. I recently bought a C6 Z06, and because I only have one butt, I will only keep one car! This particular C5 is a gem, located in the Los Angeles Area, California. If you are out of state, I can help with shipping. I've shipped quite a few cars & motorcycles and I have a trusted carrier with fair price.
Short version:68,000 milesEverything works except for the oil pressure sender unit needing replacement (the part will be provided with sale): head-up display, AC panel display, remote, central lock, windows, electric seats No surprises.

Everything works on this car, apart from the oil pressure sender unit. I bought a new one and would have installed it if I had kept the car longer. So this car truly comes with no surprise.
The factory equipment includes the Preferred Equipment Group, meaning:Memory package6-way power driver & passenger sport bucket seatsTelescopic power steering columnElectrochromic mirrorsHeads-up instrument displayDual-zone air conditioningAuxiliary lampsTwilight sentinelCar was factory equipped with the radio & 12-disc CD changer. I upgraded it with a perfect Android head unit which allowed me not to cut anything, and even the backup camera was installed without drilling anything. The camera is fixed on a bracket attached to the license plate holder. A dual-USB port is installed under the armrest to replace the 12v original connector for those who would need USB in their life.
Since the bezel needed to be modified, I bought a used one in good condition and saved the original one aside along with all original equipment (from the radio to the bolts and pins, along with the CD changer). I kept the CD changer hardness in the car for anyone who wants to return to 100% stock. I upgraded the speakers also with JL Audio C2-350x (front) and JL Audio C2-650X (back). While the door panels were out, I added door Panel Insulators (Whisper Quiet). I also replaced some of the door fasteners that were loose upon removal. The upgrade in terms of quality over the original equipment is significant! While the bezel was off, I repaired and upgraded the AC panel to LED, and since I need consistency in my life, I took care of upgrading the rest of the car with LED:Vanity mirrorDoor control panelsGloveboxUnderhoodReverse lightHatchFootwellWith the updated Android head unit and AC panel, it looks very consistent and modern at night, and the Llyod floormats are in very good condition. I also added the HyperFlash harness as I planned to add the LED taillights, but the Z06 arrived before I could finalize that part.
The Carfax shows damage reported in December 2018. The previous owner scraped the front bumper over a parking stump and repainted it at a body shop. The paintwork is quite honestly impressive as even my obsessive detailer was pleased with the result.
The car comes with:2x sets of keys1x Factory 2002 Corvette Owners Manual1x Original VHS Owner GuideIn terms of preventative maintenance, I took care of the LMC5 Module by Compliance part to make sure the car would never get stuck because of the steering lock, and while I was there, I installed the CAGS-SKIP. I decided to retain the light on the dash as a visual indicator for driving purposes.
As you can probably tell, I went into this with all my heart and passion, and I was about to do much more until I got the C6 Z06. I was adamant about getting a 2002 year model because of all the upgrades it has over the previous years:Updated EBCM, which is serviceableSecond Generation Active Handling (F45)Better soundproofingSmaller keyfob85MM MAF with integral temp sensor (versus 74mm with separate plug for IAT)Better cam profile changed to: .500/0.500, 198/208 on 115.5LSA (From: 0.472/0.479, 202/210 on 117)LS6 engine block (windage passages in block), which includes a beefier oil pumpLS6 intake manifoldIncreased power 350 HP @ 5200 RPM and 375 Ft Lbs of torque @ 4400 RPMStronger synchrosExhaust manifolds revisedMetal valve stem capsTorque Tube changed from metal-matrix composite to aluminum alloy 6061, increased in dia from 55 to 63 mm.Driveshaft couplings upgraded for additional strength and durabilityAnd that's it! I hope to find someone who's as passionate as I am about this car and who'll enjoy it as much as it deserves to be!
