This is a complete ground up nut and bolt restauration where no expense was spared.Every nut and bolt on this classic Corvette is brand new or has been refurbished to as new condition. The paint is show quality with absolutely no imperfections. The frame has been powder coated the same colour as the body. The suspension is brand new with modern performance upgrades making this Corvette handle like a modern vehicle. The interior is all custom made featuring C5 leather seats and new door panels,new dash pads and carpeting and also modern digital instrumentation. The engine is an LS GM engine with 6 litres of pure power backed by an automatic transmission and high mileage 3.08 geared differential for easy and economic highway travelling. The suspension includes mono leaf fiberglass springs in front as well as rear which provide a smooth and soft ride as well as improved cornering ability. The car also features disc brakes on all 4 wheels with slotted rotors for improved stopping ability. The exhaust system is Stainless steel and includes Impala SS mufflers that provide a quiet but subtle rumble at idle.The fiberglass body has been modified to resemble the GrandSport Corvettes with GrandSport flares,plexi covered headlights,custom GrandSport styled side louvres, unique back-up lights,front air dam,recessed door handles,custom hand fabricated GrandSport hood with louvres and even a unique GrandSport logo on the rear deck.The car also features the following:
