corvette convertible

Hi Folks, Well you know the old saying, all good things come to an end sooner or later. After 9 years of having fun with my 59 Corvette I decided to let someone else have some fun. I bought the car locally in the summer of 2012. The car had a frame off restoration by the previous owner around 2010. The body and paint work was done, all the chrome was replated or replaced. Suspension and steering rebuilt. The old 283 engine was long gone so a crate ZZ4 Chevrolet 350 was installed with a Muncie 4-speed transmission. The rear end is stock with a 4:11 posi. The front brakes have been updated to disc brakes. I replaced the stock steering box with a Steeroids rack and pinion manual unit which is better then the stock unit. Black soft top only. The engine has a HEI ignition, Holley carb and headers. Yes it's loud and mean and not for everyone. The paint was never perfect so expect to find some minor flaws which just add to the Hot Rod patina! Feel free to ask any questions. I always get asked if I would consider any trades.
