Description
Yourlooking at the worlds first automatic ZR1!!! The conversion was done bynationally recognized Redline Motorsports in Pompano Beach Florida. Theparts were furnished by RPM Transmission in Indiana. Looking at theinterior of this car it looks like it came from GM this way. All factoryinterior parts were used this was a no compromise conversion, it wasdone right and built to last. While the tranny conversion was takingplace I also had an RPM Trasmissions rear end installed and I hadRedlineupgrade the engine with and ATI harmonic balancer, upper and lowersupercharger pulleys, American Racing 2 inch headers their stage 3 cam,as set of MAST motorsports heads, methanol injection as well as a customcoolant reservoir for the supercharger giving almost an extra 2 gallonsof coolant capacity. This car is suitable as a daily driver, and if youlive in a very congested city you will appreciate the automatictransmission. The car is making well over 850 HP and will run consistent9 second passes at the drag strip if you choose to go play at thetrack.
This car was featured in this January's issue of VetteMagazine for a cool article and documentation of the car. The car is located inFlorida at Redline, where I keep it for the winter. Car has roughly 7400 miles on it and approximately 2000 since modifications. The car was bought back from GM from the first owner because the owner said the car had a hesitation that the dealer could never duplicate, if you call any dealer and give them the VIN they will give you the history of it.
