Rare Corvette for sale
1986, 4+3 manual trans, Z51 performance suspension package with 55,000 miles. 350 TPI motor with aluminum heads. 245 hp 345 Ft lbs of torque. This option package is very hard to find these days. Red/Red. 4 BRAND NEW BF Goodrich tires. You can still see the colored line between the treads. Original paint, no body work anywhere on the car. It has a $1300 stainless steel cat back exhaust that is welded on, not clamped, and an aftermarket radio. Otherwise it is Stock. It has a new Cap, Rotor, Plugs, Wires, Air Filter and power brake booster ($400.00) The interior is very clean. no rips in seats but a little side bolster wear as usual, but not ripped.
Z51 performance suspension that includes: Heavy-duty front and rear springs, shock absorbers, stabilizer bars and bushings, fast steering ratio, engine oil cooler, extra radiator fan (pusher), P255 / 50VR16 tires and directional alloy wheels (16 x 8.5 (front) and 16 x 9.5 (rear) & larger diameter stabilizer bars. Runs and drives perfectly. handles unbelievably. Zero roll.
This is a very late run
2 issues: The Glass top is cracked, and the paint is faded on the top of the hood and slightly on top of rear qts. Otherwise the rest of the paint is clean and very shiny. It's should/could wet sand out but not guaranteed. Red is iffy like that.. At a dealer this car is in the low 9's or mid to high 8's.
To the knowledgeable Vette buyer, if you like the early C4's, these are the ones to buy)
Just the tires $1000, Exhaust $1,300, the brake booster and Tune up $700 are $3,000 in value. I did not have the vin # at the time I placed this listing (car is in storage and I need to go get it) so I used the last Vin available. I do know the car is a very late edition- in the 27,000 range.Clean NJ title.
