Description
This gorgeous Elkhart Green 1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
with Saddle interior is in excellent condition from top to bottom, interior to
exterior, from paint to chrome. 1972 was
the last year for front and rear chrome bumpers and removable rear window; car
also comes with the back luggage rack.
This corvette had a frame-off restoration at approximately 100,000
miles; current miles are ~112,000. The
frame is straight and clean. The
frame-off restoration included steering, brakes, electrical, and body
work. Has a rebuilt 350 small-block with
oversized cam and Rochester 4 barrel; although not the original engine, it
replicates an engine for that year. Car
has the original rear end and transmission (Muncie 4-speed); the seals and
bearings were replaced during the restoration.
I purchased the car in 2004 after the restoration was completed. I have always garaged the car and kept it very well-maintained; I have never had any issues with it.
Since I purchased the car, I installed an AM/FM Stereo Cassette, with 10-disk CD Changer (hidden in storage compartment), MTX-202 Power Amp, and Pioneer Speakers. I also installed an engine by-pass switch (security), new horn relay switch, parking brake console, chrome master cylinder head, chrome valve covers, steering wheel/horn cap, sun visors, inner and outer tie rods.
All OEM replacement parts were used, every attempt has been made to keep car looking as original as possible. Comes with car cover and miscellaneous parts from the restoration (i.e. water pump, steering wheel, sun visors, etc.).
