Chevrolet: Corvette Convertible

This is one of 3467 Corvettes built in 1956, This car runs and drives, and has a white soft top with a real nice clear back window, gauges in the car are original except for the tach, the tach is a Sun tach but the transmitter is not working, tach tests good. It has the rare hand brake lite above the steering column, the switch at the end of the column is missing so the light does not work when brake lever pulled. Hand brake works fine. The car has the original wonderbar radio. It has what I believe is a 327 engine with a single 4 bbl carb with a 4 speed muncie trans, the car has new brake cylinders, and new master cylinder, it has a replaced original gas tank, new tires, repro hubcaps, rebuilt radiator with new updated core, new radiator hoses, new door panels, nice seats , black carpet, 12 volt battery is new, This car had the power top option when it was new, the mechanism is gone but wiring and switches are still there. The frame is clean no rust. As seen in the pictures the tail light chrome needs to be redone if you desire. The car can be seen at my home. This is not a trailer queen it is a driver paint and trim is not perfect. I have a clear title in hand. The car is not currently registered.
