Frame off restoration in 1991 with no expense spared at $138,000 total cost for the restoration. Original engine with all matching numbers. The car was shown 1991 – 1993 winning the triple crown – NCRS Top Flight, Bloomington Gold, and the Chevy Vette Fest. And in 1993 it won the coveted Duntov Award scoring 99.25 at a National NCRS meet. The Duntov Award is personally autographed by Zora Duntov. All awards will go with the car. This is the finest 55 corvette in the world.
There are 21,870 original documented miles. The car has only been driven 3,000 miles since 1989. There has only been 3 owners.
The car has been kept in a climate controlled garage since the restoration. This is the first time this car has been offered for sale.
