Description
For sale is my 1965 Nassau Blue matchingnumbers Corvette convertible with matching hardtop. The car was restored by the previous owner, including the gorgeous paintjob, new convertible top, etc. Absolutely no rust on frame. After the restoration, theowner, an elderly fellow with a large heated garage with many otherclassic cars, drove it very sparingly (too sparingly) to shows and hiscountry club, so when I bought it from him, it needed attention.
Iput on new radial Firestone white wall tires, a new battery (with tartopper for an original look), a battery disconnect. I had the carb rebuilt, tuned it up, changed to a modern zinc oil, did thebrakes (MC, all 4 wheel cylinders and pads), corrected many small (butnot perfect) items, got the windshield washer working, fixed the slowpopup lights. I also replaced the old "DOT" lights with modern Sylvanialights (but kept the old), fixed the heater blower, fixed the odometerprofessionally, fixed the clock professionally, fixed the fuel sender, the list goes on. New custom top carpets. The seats are original andexcellent. When the dash was out, I put new lights in the dash, new turnsignal switch. New (rebuilt) alternator, new voltageregulator. Modern auto-retract shoulder belts were installed. New rearshocks, motor mounts, transmission service. I have kept all replacedparts, so if you want to get any certifications (e.g. Top Flight), while you will need a 1965 Master cylinder (it has a 1967), I have kept it asoriginal as humanly possible. It is a great car.
The car comes with a beautiful hardtop in matching color on a rack now for the summer.
Itdrives like new and needs nothing: It is a great cruiser. It has absolutelyno rust on the frame or birdcage, no leaks when I park it, only one or two tiny nicks/scratches in the paint (consistentwith driving it a bit and touched up) but I get many comments fromknowledgeable folks about the gorgeous paint. Check the pictures.
Ihave a stack of receipts for parts and work done over the lastyear which go with the car, as do various manuals and the old parts.

100% of payment due within 7 days ofwinning, via wire or certified check . Once money clears I will releasethe car and sign the title. If you plan to ship the car via a transport company, Iwill assist them in loading it up from my garage.
Car isviewable by appointment in NJ, 30 miles south of NYC. The car comes with nowarranty of any sort. I have included many pictures, if you bid and win, what you see in the pictures is what you get, but if you aren'tsure, view it in person or have it inspected.
