RARE – 75 – MANUAL – RED – CONVERTIBLE – MATCHING NUMBERS –
RESTORED
290RWHP – 500 lb. ft torque
1975 Corvette Stingray Convertible L48 in great condition reconditioned and tastefully modified 350 V8, mild cam, sounds great, quick car. Original block, gearbox and body, ALL MATCHING NUMBERS. Original titles from the USA, FIRST AUSTRALIAN OWNER. Rebuilt Transmission, suspension, brakes and steering. Blackman’s full interior and hood, black leather seats (in original pattern) new black carpets and tan hood. All gauges work (except the clock, common in this car!). 4 wheel discs and a few small upgrades for daily use, full electric ignition, auto aerial (not the static 37”) mp3/digital music module hidden under rear deck.
Full registration in Victoria, number plate L48 VET
I personally took this vehicle through its restoration including full VASS certification maintaining lap seat belts, left hand drive and the essence of the Corvette.
Midlife crisis or just because you deserve it this car is unbelievable to drive, everything works as it should and you have never driven a head turner like this.
I have driven approx. 1,000 in almost 6 years of ownership, in that time I’ve got married and had a child, this car was only ever built as two seats!!! It’s the wife or the car now!
Must be seen, would still benefit from new paint (straight body) but you will not find such a RARE and honest car as this one.
Chev built NO MORE convertibles until 1986, THAT’S 11 YEARS WITHOUT A ROADSTER!
1975 was a unique model, the ONLY year with single piece front and rear polyurethane bumpers, such an iconic car.
