Description
1973 Corvette Stingray. Very good shape and ready to drive or great car for full restoration. I am the second owner and have owned this car since 1979. - High performance L82 engine wit 4-bolt main.
- Engine and body numbers match.
- Convertible top has been replaced and has stitched rear window like original - not glued window like many replacements. Looks like new.
- Hard top - color matches body.
- Nose cover has been replaced and panted to match.
- Rare factory air conditioning for a convertible that age. Missing original compressor.
- Power tilt/tele steering.
- Power brakes.
- Power windows.
- Pop-up headlights work.
- 4 speed manual close ratio transmission (naturally!). I had Hurst shifter installed, but have original shifter.
- Very clean and straight frame and body.
- Daytona front springs.
- One small tear in body by left rear wheel was there when I bought the car.
- Original rally wheels.
- Original carpet, but worn. Nice Vette floor mats.
- Original black leather interior.
- Original owners manual.
- Original jack and handle.
- Even has the map light in mirror which was a $5 option in 1983.
- 87,000 original miles.
- Complete engine rebuild approx. 1989.
- Engine pulled and professionally balanced, blue printed and line bored. Runs great. Very smooth.
- Approx. 2,000 miles since rebuild.
- In storage 1995-2015.
- Car gone through in 2015. Complete engine tune-up. New brake calipers, pads, lines and mater cylinder. New tires, battery and pinion seal. New carburetor kit and gas tank cleaned. New radiator hoses and V-belts.
Not many left out there like this one. The car is waiting for its third proud owner!
