1937 Chevy Gasser Race Car / Street Car
John Beck Built 355" SBC, 671 Blower 1:1, dyno'd over 600HP, Mikes Transmissions Power Glide with Race Case, 8" Converter, 9" Rear with Spool 4.30 Gear, Moser 35 Spline Axles
Straight Axle front, ladder bar - Leaf spring rear suspension
Custom built roll cage and custom interior Tin work.
Original Steel body, fiberglass front fenders and deck lid.
Car is Street Legal with working lights and signals. Runs cool. Comes with pair of slicks on Mag wheels for the track. New Simpson Harness good til' 2020. New Odyssey 1500 Amp battery.
Car has been a race car since early 60's. Ran the Drags and the lakes and Bonneville and El Mirage. Then running a 302 GMC 6. Car was pictured in January 64 Hot Rod. Ran a then Best Speed of 139.96 mph.
Car has not been raced in its current configuration.
