Description

40 CHEVY COUPE PRO STREET PROJECT ROADSTER SHOP CHASSIS BEST OF THE BEST PARTS. What do you have to Trade?????????????????????????????????????????????????????? This car is worth much more than what he is asking even as a rat rod, the Chassis is worth more than what he is wanting for the entire car. Bring on those trades!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am selling this for my buddy and this car is super discounted the Frog Follies are coming up down in Evansville August 24-26 and this car would sell for much more at that car show than what he's asking here. This is a 1940 Chevy coupe, the build was absolutely the best of everything. It was an Immaculate $160,000 build but Murphy's law lives on and a fire brought us to where we are right now. The car, the build, is still intact and is still super nice. this car is much nicer than finding one on a fence row and trying to build that car. it is in a pro street format, the 572 big block and the automatic overdrive transmission have been removed from the car so this will be sold as a rolling chassis project with a clear / clean title.
1. The frame was built at the Roadster Shop in Elgin Illinois custom boxed with the pro street option and cost $15,999,
2. It was paired with a Heights Super Ride front end with rack and pinion steering at a cost of $4,599,
3. A built narrowed Ford 9-inch rear end with a 3:50 geared posi trac and a 4-link suspension which cost $2,200,
4. The brakes are Wilwood disc brakes up front and Ford drum brakes in rear with an electric power brake booster all still intact and working and cost $1,100,
5. The wheels are staggered Torque Thrust 2 polished fronts 15 x 6, rears 17 x 11 with Hoosier radials fronts are 25 x 7.5 x 15 and Rears are 31 x 16.5 x 17 at a cost of $2,800,
6. Custom-built stainless gas tank from Rock Valley out of Stillman Valley Illinois $950,
7. Walker all brass radiator cost $850,
8. There are so many parts that are on the car also, not just the chassis, like rechromed original Grill $850,
9. HID headlights and LED tail lights $450,
10. Oil cooler, trans cooler, chrome power steering pump, chrome coilover shocks, trunk closure new front and rear bumpers and a complete front to back stainless and chrome exhaust system all totaling over $4,100
11. These are just parts no labor totaling $33,848, but that's not mentioning the fact that this is a completely worked over clear / clean titled 1940 Chevy Coupe that has been prostreeted, the tub work, the floor pans all are in excellent shape, the car has been nosed and decked, the headlights and bumpers have been recessed and again the build was $160,000 this car has the best of everything, but now it is a rolling chassis project and it could be your turn to put your flavor to the car to bring it back the way you'd like to have it finished off, and this car is being super discounted and being sold at a fraction of the cost. NEW SET OF DOLPHIN GAUGES GOES WITH THE CAR. THIS CAR IS ALSO FOR SALE LOCAL. BUY IT NOW IS $12,500 FIRM Car is located in Vincennes Indiana. Call or text 812 396 SEVEN836.
