Up for sale is my 1942 Chevrolet business coupe. Super nice car, runs and drives like a new one.
This was originally restored a few years ago. When it was completed it was a show stopper, one of those cars that took a trophy every show it went to and it still is super nice, but over time eventually you get a mark here or there, a lady with a purse bumps your car at a car show and things like that. So it still is a show stopper, but not as perfect as it once was. The blue paint is a metallic and looks amazing with the white roof. Most of the chrome was rechromed at the time of restoration and looks just as nice as the paint job. The bumper overriders for whatever reason were not rechromed, as well as the chrome on and around the trunk handle. They don't look bad, but they aren't as perfect as the rest of the chrome/brightwork.
As far as engine, drivetrain, and suspension, basically its completely stock. Really the only deviation is the motor. Originally it had a 216, it now has a 235. With the 235 you have better oiling and of course more horsepower. The motor runs like sewing machine, shifts, drives, stops, and steers, just like it should.
The interior was restored in stock styled seat covers, door panels, headliner, etc. It looks just as amazing as the rest of the car.
I really don't want to sell it, but I'm losing some storage. This car is amazing, a car as nice this doesn't come along very often, don't miss out !
I will expect to be paid in full within 48 hours after the auction ends. I will only accept cash when you pick it up or a bank wire transfer.
I deal with trucking companies on a daily basis for work. If you need help with transportation just ask.
