Description
1979 El Camino SS. With 62k actual miles. Runs strong and drives well- my dad was just dabbling with interior cosmetic stuff (switching to bucket seats, matching seatbelts, radio upgrade etc) before he unexpectedly passed.
The body had the quarters replaced, as well as the fenders and the right floor plan. The rest was clean. New tires (165's on front, 295's on back) as well as new brakes (drums and shoes).
The engine is a 350, 4 bolt block, bored .030 with a Lunati Cam. It has Edelbrock performer heads, and Edelbrock dual quad manifold with 2,500 cfm "thunder series carbs"
The trans is a TH350 rebuilt by 'Autoshop' topped off with a Hurst ratchet shifter for the 9" Ford rear end with 3.89 posi-traction.
My dad bought this car to finish and drive. I am not a motorhead so much of this is from his notes but visually verified (except for the cam of course).
Welcome to ask other questions and I will tell you what I have from the running list he kept.
Car is 100% legal, plated, and was driven (weather permitting). Title is clean and has been transferred to the surviving spouse so no issues for potential buyers.
