Description

You are bidding on my 1970 El Camino. Instead of a clone or tribute car, I prefer to call it a "Day 2 restomod". With its Fathom Blue paint, white SS stripes, and Torque Thrust wheels it has the look of yesteryear but now comes with all the modern amenities you'd want in a car.
Not only does it have Power Steering, Power Front Discs, and Tilt Steering but it has been updated with a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, a Vintage Air AC system, Dakota Digital VHX gauge cluster, and a Retrosound Bluetooth Stereo.
The engine is a 383 stroker motor with Edelbrock manifold and Rochester carb. It runs Dougs headers through flowmaster mufflers and Stainless Works GTO splitter exhaust tips. The Tremec 5-speed connects to a GM 10 bolt with an Auburn Gears posi unit (3.42 ratio). The front suspension was rebuilt, with poly bushings, KYB shocks, and CPP lowering springs. The BFG Radial TAs and American Racing Torque Thrusts have less than 3500 miles on them.
The interior is brand new with many OPGI goodies plus ProCar seats, LeCarra steering wheel, as well as a Hurst shifter and the above mentioned AC, gauges, and stereo.
To keep your cargo safe and secure I have added a Craftec soft tonneau cover along with a Bedrug marine carpet bedliner.
I have owned it for 8 years and have all restoration and parts receipts. The paint does have a bubble on the driver side roof and the chrome on the front bumper has peeled in one place (see pictures). The rest of the sheet metal is solid. I have extra parts (including a new front bumper shown in picture) that will all be included with the sale.
This is a great weekend cruiser that loves doing 70 mph on the open highway at 1900 rpm.
