Description
You are looking at a 1969 El Camino 396 4 speed with close to 70,000 miles on the chassis. The engine and trans are not original, the swap was done less than 5,000 miles ago. The engine runs great, fires right up and is currently tuned for daily driving. She has disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. The car stops great and doesn't pull to either side. This El Camino has next to no rust. The floor pans are solid. There is a quarter size rust spot on the driver side front finder and what looks like some bondo repair on the driver side rear quarter panel.
The Good -
Fresh motor and Trans
New alternator
New ignition
New fan and fan clutch
New battery
New Holley carb
New Manual choke
New master cylinder
New brake booster
New suspension all around (front / rear springs and shocks. Air shock assists for the rear springs)
New rear sway bar
New 3 point retractable seat belts
The Bad -
She will need a little body work and a nice paint job
Gauges do no work
Hood does not allow the wipers to work
The tires that are on the car are to big and will rub
Overall this is a fantastic El Camino. I have her setup so you can jump in and drive. There is more power in the motor depending on how you want it. It is the perfect El Camino to make your own.
If you have any question please ask before biding.
