Description

Most of these 59s have been molested or are complete rust buckets! To find them out there in this condition is very rare and is a real treat! Runs excellent.
A frame off restoration was completed in 1999 at which time the 1966 L72 427 (11:1 CR, 425 HP, 460 Lb Tq) and M22 Muncie rock crusher 4 speed transmission were added. Engine has an Edelbrock Torker manifold and Holley 850 CFM carb. There are no signs of rust anywhere nor dents in any stainless trim. The bed is perfect with not a dent or scratch to be found. Front end was lowered using dropped spindles and special coil springs. Rear was lowered with custom coil springs and has air shocks. Front and rear have oversize sway bars.
Recently updated with Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Air Conditioning (never has been charged as I rarely drive it anymore), Electric Vacuum Pump, Glide Engineering seat and new Interior in pearl white. The 4.11 Posi rear end has been narrowed 3 inches to accommodate 15x10 wheels in stock wells. Trans rebuilt with McLeod clutch and pressure plate. Classic Car Stereo AM/FM Radio with Aux Input utilizing Sirius Satellite radio.
Please, be serious if you are interested in the car, I'd rather not waste your time or mine. The car will only be shown to whom I deem to be serious. I'm in a not rush to sell and stupid offers will get a like response.
