Description
Nice big block 69 El Camino for sale. picked this up in trade recently and really like it but want a 69 Chevelle. Will consider clean body 69 Chevelle roller plus cash in part trade.
Don't know a lot about this Camino but I will list what I know about it. Its crazy fast! Previous owner states the motor is a fresh 427 with solid lift cam big oval port heads stainless steel headers with Edelbrock intake & carb I ran the block numbers 3999289 which comes out to be a 454 and from what I read its second only to the 512 casting 427/454 block with high nickel. So either its a 454 or its been turned into a 427 using a 396 323 crank. no VIN stamping on block but it is stamped CE which means it was a counter exchange/Crate Engine. Either way its super fast and runs good. Flow master 40s all the way out the back with new chrome tips.4 wheel disc brakes with slotted cross drilled rotors aluminum radiator with dual fans
The trans is a 350 with shift kit backed up with original 12 bolt rear end. Paint is older but shiny and looks good for a daily driver but looking close there are flaws chips scratches rubbed marks etc. id say its a 6 or 7 it has ghosted pearl stripes on hood but very hard to see. underneath is spotless! frame floor pans rear end front end cleaned and painted no rust or repairs on floor. I could not find or see any rust anywhere on car. My only complaint is the brake pedal seems low it stops ok but needs more pedal but entire brake system is new including rotors calipers and master cylinder. Starts right up first try no smoke no oil leaks good oil pressure doesn't run hot.
Here is a walk around video of it running
