Description
I got this from a friend of mine that got into a little tax trouble. He didn't intend on selling it after dumping thousands into it but had to make some sacrifices. From what I can tell this is pretty much an original automobile. I do know custom buckets were added and I can't remember if Rally wheels were stock that year, But these are new as well as the tires. I have been all over it and this is what I can tell you. The car appears to be The Olympic Gold which has been repainted some time back. We call them 10 footers because you can't tell the quality at that distance. It is a decent paint job, (just not show quality) There is a list of new parts which are all oem. The trim pieces that are original are very clean and shiny. I found no bondo in the car and ran a magnet everywhere. The pans are nice and I can see new supports underneath and the gas tank was replaced at some point. Frame rails are nice and the car was professionally undercoated. The engine has been rebuilt and runs as it should. The glass is all nice and clean, and the windows function properly. The car is a very nice driver and has good bones to be a show car. The brakes are good but I would upgrade because in this era the horsepower wasn't equal to the stopping power in my opinion. I have owned hundreds of cars and trucks and depending on the climate they come from you can tell if they were stored inside. This one was for sure. Doors and tailgate shut firm and straight (no sag), and the body is straight. Contact me if you have more questions. I can store the car for a month if you are the winning bidder. Thank you
