1964 Chevrolet “El Camino”
owned for 8 years original California car imported in 2012 when I moved back permanently to Australia. 8,000 miles on new engine and total mechanical upgrade.
Car has been repainted 10 years ago and is two tone black on bottom of body and Midnight blue on top and roof separated by a silver pin stripe. New black bucket seats and carpet.
Car only been driven to swap meets and shows,
Engine: V8 383 stroker
Alluminium center bold heads
Full racing extractors with 3 inch collectors. New exhaust with SS ends.
Tremec 5 speed overdrive manual transmission 4 years low miles
Ford 9 inch differential with Curry racing axles 350 gears. (have new set of 411 gears to suit the 9” diff.
Willwood rear brake setup with drum specially designed parking brakes incorporated in the disc/drum design
American Braking Systems front disc brakes with chrome calipers
Power steering with remote tank
Ron Davies – racing alluminum radiator
Holly HO 4 barrel double pumper carburetor with billet fuel blocks
Front suspension upgraded
American Classic racing wheels
New gas tank with rear mounted electric fuel pump and filter
New set of fabricated aluminum valve covers also comes with the car (new in the box)
This vehicle is a one off classic American Muscle car. It has not been driven as a daily driver for as long as I have had it. It is registered as a Historic Vehicle. Pick up only, flat bed truck OK following payment. I will assist where possible.My focus was to have a "head turner" that is reliable and great fun to drive. It is all of those things. I don't have the resources here to keep it as I would like so it is reluctantly up for sale. It will be sold as is with no warranty implied or given.
