1968 Chevrolet El Camino

Selling this very nicely restored El Camino from my brother's estate.My brother served in the US Army and did a tour in Viet Nam in 1969 - 1970.He was a Crew Chief on a helicopter and a multiple Purple Heart recipient.He died recently from complications of the liver transplant he received over 20 years ago, from being poisoned at work.He had a passion for nice cars, motorcycles and "toys". He took very good care of things.This car has been in the high desert of Oregon for many years, I don't see any rust on this car. The bed is straight and rust free, one of the best you will see anywhere.This car had a frame off restoration by the previous owner and has had very few miles put on since that time. It has a Corvette 350 cid engine bored out to 383 cid with a roller cam and a Camaro Tuned Port Injection system. TH700-R4 four-speed automatic-overdrive transmission and its derivatives have nearly become the universal favorite of hot-rodder's. All this is routed to posi-traction rear end. Sorry I don't know the gear ratio at this time. The posi rear end is mounted with Revolution Racing Coil-Over adjustable rear shocks, and rear stabilizer bar which helps keep the rubber on the road in all conditions. Adjustable so you can set the ride to your liking.Keeping all that horse power cool is a four (4) core radiator. While you are looking under the hood check out the wiring, there is not a wire out of place. Neat and clean best describe the detail my brother was known for. And the wiring has been redone with a Painless Performance Products. With disc brakes all around, the SS hood and beautiful black bucket seats, this car is a real head turner. Also, it has an electric fuel pump that has a switch for theft protection.This el Camino has been featured in local car shows and won. And it can be your daily driver or show car in your local car show.If this car is sold out of Oregon, the license plates are not included in the sale.
