1964 Chevrolet El Camino with 283 V8 - Completely Restored California Black Plate Truck
A beautifully restored Chevy El Camino that looks, runs and drives better than when it was new! This truck has been registered in California since 1964 and is currently part of a small car collection in Orange County. An extensive restoration was completed in 2013 using all the original Chevrolet parts except some exterior/interior trim items and the power steering and power brakes that were added for ease of driving.
The restoration started with an original straight rust free California black plate vehicle and included paint, interior, chrome, suspension, wiring, front end plus rebuilding of the 283 V8 engine and the Power Glide transmission. A Sony Stereo with CD was installed in the glove box and there are front kick panel speakers.
This truck is as nice as it gets and will make a great vehicle for someone who wants to have the best El Camino available. All photos were just taken within the last few days for this listing.
The truck is now over 50 years old so we are selling it as-is. It can be viewed in the Newport Beach area of Southern California and we are available to answer any questions.
