Description
1947 Chevrolet Series EK Fleetmaster 2 door Town Sedan. Unrestored original automobile. Winner- First in Class- 2018 Illinois Secretary of State Vehicle Show. This car is untouched with patina upon patina. No upgrades, just a rust free solid all original time capsule.
The 1947 Sport Beige/Scout Brown two tone paint is thin, flaking and speckled with tiny spots of surface corrosion. The wheels are untouched original paint Scout Brown with Argent Silver striping. The bakelite knobs and steering wheel have no cracks. The car looks fabulous just as it is. (There is no hidden bondo, rust holes or major dents hidden by a clever paint job! you can see exactly what the car is like.)
Recent maintenance includes new tires, new fan belt (took the original fan belt off and put in trunk), new period correct spark plug wires, coil, points, plugs and cap. New 6 volt battery, new vacuum shifter boot, new master cylinder, pitman arm bushings and tie rods.
This all original, all stock car is ready for a long drive home, powered by it's powerful 216 cubic inch stove bolt Chevy engine with vacuum assisted 3 speed torque tube drive train. Included, the owners manual, dealer tri-color transparency sales brochure, and extra original uncut keys.
Based upon the overall condition of this vehicle there is no reason to doubt the under 40,000 mile odometer. Please call me by TELEPHONE, if you have any questions. Please CALL ONLY at: 217-494-310two
This car has spent most of it's life in the tobacco farming town of Madison, North Carolina. (no salt there with very little snow). I will assist in helping anyway that I can to assist in transportation arrangements. I will accept $500.00 PayPal deposit with the balance in CASH or bank wire transfer - PNC bank.
