1947 CHEVROLET FLEETMASTER WOODY WAGON, FANTASTIC DRIVER, ROCK SOLID

WONDERFUL 1947 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Woody Wagon. 25,371 miles. Absolutely fabulous driver. Older orange paint jobs looks nice but is far from perfect. Minor chipping in the hood joints and a few touch ups here and there. Chrome is very nice throughout, as is the glass. Wood is solid and well sealed but has a variance in the colors, as is clear in the pictures. Interior woodwork is lovely. This is NOT a restored car. The only alteration from stock is the newer upholstery and aftermarket seatbelts. The floors and frame rails are straight and rock solid (please see photos).
The 216 Cubic inch (3.5 liter) Inline 6 cylinder motor starts up easily with floor pedal starter, and purrs quietly. The 3 speed manual transmission is very smooth and easy to shift, and has no bearing noise. She runs and tracks and steers and stops as she should!
The previous owner had a lot of fun and success at car shows, and besides being a JOY to drive, it is a perfect vehicle for parades and events and Cruise-Ins and shows.
