Description
This is an Original 68 Impala Super Sport L72 /427 4 Speed car with the original motor. In 1968 Chevrolet built 710900 Impalas. Of those only 568 had L72 engines. In69 the L72 was referred to as a COPO engine.
Without the correct engine an SS427 Impala is of little more value than a basic Impala. I think I have one of the few triple blacks with this engine built. After exhaustive research I believe the M21 four speed, cross member & 4 speed shifter are original to the car. It has the instrument package with tach. Bucket seats, 4 speed console, light lenses, badges, bumper, new gas tank and Rally wheels with center caps. It still has the dealerships label on it. I have a lot of parts to go with it.
Needs: back seat, floor and truck pans and back glass. I have a 68 fastback parts car I will consider selling with this car.
Selling with a bill of sale only. Mississippi did not title cars until the 70s.
Please look closely at the pictures before you bid. I do Not ship. Buyer is responsible for pick up.
