Description

I am selling my 65 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport hardtop coupe. I amselling it because I have too many projects and not enough time, money or garage space LOL.
I have owned the car since 20

This is a numbers matching car that is in driver condition.

It has the HB code 327ci "Turbo-Fire" 300HP V-8 with a 4 barrel carb.

Only modifications are: Edelbrock carb (pretty much same design as theoriginal AFB) 1.52 roller tip rockers, and long tube headers. I do not know if the 59k mileage is correct, when I bought the car it was at 42k.

The car has factory A/C, but it is not working right now because of aleak in the fitting to the evaporator. It has everything in place(brackets, hoses etc)

The car has a 4 speed Muncie manual transmission (close ratio). First through third gear are straight cut.

The rear axle is the GM 12 bolt with 3.45 gears.

It has the original SS knock off style hub caps on 14x7 wheels with new 225-70-14 tires.

This is what the cowl tag reads:
12C
ST 65-16637 ATL 2809
TR 856- E-E
E 2KLSR 3C 5
5WL
It does need some paint, it isn't the original color (Danube Blue) butright now looks decent after a cut and buff. It does have a few rustyspots that need to be fixed, but the body is pretty solid. It has a couple of rusty spots in the usual places, rear quarters behind the wheel wells, in the lower corners of the rearwindow, drip rail and a small hole under the drivers floor pan.
The interior was originally Fawn, but the previous owner converted it tothe popular white/black scheme with dyes and paints, could prettyeasily be converted back.
Shipping:
I can arrange the shipping of the car, the buyer will be responsible for paying the shipment and signing the bill of lading.
Also I have used a couple of transport companies in the past that I can recommend if the buyer wants to arrange their own shipment
