1960 Chevrolet Impala

This is a very solid and very desirable 1960 Impala. It has a good running 283 V8 and TH350. Car runs and drives great. Also has a nice power steering conversion but does leak a little steering fluid from the steering box. The car needs the entire interior finished. That includes carpet, headliner door panels seat covers and kick panels. I do have a set of old standard door panels and I do have the original front and rear bench seats with speaker cover and bright seat trim, but the seats also need total restoration, foam, seat covers etc. The body is very solid, some minor rust repair has been done in the floors and inner rockers. The frame is rock solid with no issues. The paint job looks good from 10 feet but is not show quality, it is okay for a driver. Anyone seriously thinking about restoring this car completely should figure in a paint job. I have pretty much all of the trim to go back on the car, all of the big stuff I have but it may be missing a few small pieces. The car needs finished up but has a ton of potential. You could literally drive it while you restore it. The price on the car is WITHOUT the wheels and tires. If you want the wheels and tires you will need to add $1500. They are a nice set of US Mags, 20 x 10 in the back and 18 x 8.5 in the front. The car doesn't sit as high as it looks in the rear in the photos, but does need to be lowered in the rear in my opinion. I do have a clear Missouri title, that is open for transfer. Contact me for a photo of both sides of the title so there is no confusion. The car is stored on my property in my 4 bay shop in Linwood, KS about 30 miles west of Kansas City. I can keep it stored for you for a few weeks if needed. The car will drive up onto a car hauler without issues, so it will be an easy load. If you don't want the wheels and tires, I will put on a decent set of rollers. I had big plans for this car, but I realize that my 11 and 7 year old boys need my attention more at this time. I am selling it to buy us all dirt bikes, something we all can enjoy together on our wooded 16 acre ranch. I will have time when they are gone to find another car. My loss is your gain.
