This vehicle was purchased new by the City of Champaign and used by the Police Department. The vehicle currently has 86,971 miles and was removed from service in April 2021 as part of our normal vehicle rotation cycle. The front tires have approximately 30% tread remaining and the rear tires have approximately 20% tread remaining. The vehicle appears to drive well with no noticeable issues present at this time.
The exterior is in fair condition. The hood has multiple rock chips & light scratches present. The front grille trim is bubbling. The front bumper has some light scratches & rock chips present. The left front fender has some minor, light scratches present. The roof has three (3) plugged/sealed holes from where police/emergency radio antennas were previously mounted. The driver door has one (1) plugged/sealed hole from where emergency lighting was previously mounted & some light nicks scratches present on both the door & door trim. The driver side rear door has several light nicks & scratches present. The truck has residue remaining from a decal & two (2) plugged/sealed holes present from where police/emergency radio antennas were previously mounted. The passenger side rear door has some light scratches present. The passenger side front doo has multiple nicks & scratches present on both the door & door trim.
The interior is in good condition. There were no noticeable issues present.
This vehicle was serviced on a 120-day preventive maintenance cycle. It was last serviced in Nov 2020, at 86,423 miles. At this service, the right rear tire was also repaired. Interested buyers would need to contact the Fleet Services Supervisor at 217-403-4753 for arrangements and adhere to all State of Illinois COVID precautions with respect to face mask wearing during interactions with City staff. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location.
