2006 Chevrolet Impala with Motor Issue

Up for grabs is a 2006 Chevrolet Impala. The car has 298,494miles on it. It was a daily driver for our family for many years, and hadrecently been our backup vehicle. I noticed that it was running hot oneday in the spring, and checked the oil, coolant, etc. All of thosethings checked out okay, so I took it to a local shop. The mechanicperformed a combustion test, and told me the car failed. He said thefailed test meant the motor was blown and there was an inner compressionleak. Given the diagnosis, the car is not safe to drive, and the buyerwill need to make arrangements to pick the car up.
Thecar also has a broken wire in the gear shifter. It is easily fixed.However, currently you have to depress a button on the side of theshifter to get the car to shift out of park.
