Description
This Chevy is an original 409 four-speed Impala Super Sport,the original color was red with a black interior. It comes with a complete 409motor with all the correct brackets and markings that a true 409 would have.Casting numbers are available on request.
This is a California almost totally rust free car. There are afew holes in the passengers floor, but look to be an easy fix. The rockers werepreviously repaired but should be done correctly. This car sat in a body shop inCalifornia for many years. The shop went out of business and the assets weresold off, including this car.
The Chevy needs a total restoration. Most of the trim piecescome with the car. The interior will need redone, as far as I know, all piecesare in place. It will need engine work, at this time it is not running . All thepieces are there , but it will be needing a rebuilt. This car is sold as is , ithas a good title, but the car needs completely restored, including the 409motor.
I bought the car from a guy in Cal. paid 11,500.00 for it. He shipped itacross country when it was 0 below with no antifreeze in it, cracked the block.I have lots of Mopar parts but none for a Chevy. Will need the block fixed orreplaced everything else is OK
