1964 Chevrolet Impala

Up for sale is a 1964 Chev Impala convert. It had been parked in a dry garage since 1994 until rescued in January. It is very original condition with at least one repaint almost 30 years ago. It has several scratches and blemishes and looks good from 20 feet. I replaced brake shoes, wheel cyl and master cyl and gave it a mini tune up. It starts right up and idles down nicely. Its only a 283, 2bbl but all stock and will get you there. There are some small rust spots in the usual places. The body is very nice. It does have a few minor issues that need attention, brake lights and blinkers not working, have the part for blinker, just haven't changed. A couple of small leaks. I would just drive it with the top down and do body and paint in the winter if thats in your plans. As for for underneath, very solid. It is over 50 years old but wouldn't hesitate to jump in it and cruise around town.I have received some good offers on this car the last time listed but I am ready to sell and move onto my next car. The reserve is set pretty low and somebody will get a nice summer cruiser.
