A numbers matching, 1966 Chevy Impala Super Sport Convertible
It's the right colors. Excellent condition. It's a Car Show proven winner.
Butnot a trailer queen your afraid to drive.
Specifications:
All matching #'s engine and transmission.
327 V8-275hp matched to the correct Powerglide transmission
Both perform beautifully and operate as new. The previous owner had the transmission
completely rebuilt, and it shifts excellent.
Options: True Super Sport Convertible
Equipped with bucket seats, console, console gauge package, power steering, and
power top. The original AM Delco radio remains but a AM/FM radio with CD player is hidden in
the glove box. Automatic transmission as stated above.
Show quality paint done locally by a very respected body shop. Prior to paint, the car the stripped to
expose all imperfections and previous body work. Imperfections were replaced with metal only. Fit,
finish and paint is show quality.
Tires are Firestone 215/75/R14 radials that have less than 4,000 miles.
True 66 hubcaps.
Brand New Sears Diehard battery.
Clear, Clean Missouri Title in the sellers name.
This car has been driven only 7,000 miles since a total 'frame on' restoration. The underside is very
solid, but not restored. This Impala was restored to Show and Drivenot as a trailer queen. Recent
winner of a "Peoples Choice Award" at a recent show.
I believe this is one of the nicest 66 Super Sports you will find. Yes, there are minor imperfections
as disclosed in the condition description above. But those "Trailer Queens" or cars that are restored as "jewelry", to be displayed and rarely driven are also priced much higher. Again this is the best of both worlds. A beautiful, numbers matching Super Sport ConvertibleYOU CAN ENJOY!
