Hello. You are bidding on a 1966 Impala Hardtop. It was originally bought brand new in dry Klammath Falls, Oregon and remained in Klammath Falls its entire life. It was a one family, adult owned car and always garaged since new. I am now the second owner. The car recently underwent a beautiful cosmetic restoration with only smart upgrades. This car has never been raced or hot rodded.
Condition is as follows:
Drivetrain:
Excellent driving car. Runs drives and stops excellent. Fires up every time, does not smoke. Engine is the original 283. All blinkers, brake lights, headlights gauges, etc work great. This Impala was originally a Saginaw 3 speed but was just converted to a rebuilt M20 Muncie 4speed with new clutch. Brakes were upgraded to disc in the front with 2 inch drop spindles to achieve perfect ride height. Suspension has not been cut or butchered and is a realistic/practical ride height with no scraping going over speed bumps etc. Has brand new Boyd Coddington wheels and tires all the way around. Has new Flowmasters all the way out the back. Also has factory power steering.
Interior:
Beautiful original interior with new carpet and sill plates only. Headliner is perfect and so is the original dash pad. Again, this car was garaged and babied all of its life. Windows and door regulators work great.
Body:
Lazer straight body with all original GM panels. All panels fit excellent. Doors hang, open and close perfect, so do deck lid and hood. One single repaint over original red. Zero rust, zero body damage, perfect original floors. Trunk floor is excellent original as well. All glass,trim and emblems are excellent. Bumpers have been rechromed, tail lamp lenses are new.
Overall:
If you are looking for an honest no issue Impala from the West Coast, this is the perfect specimen.
