1974 Impala Sport Coupe 400 Engine, Turbo 350 Transmission
Numbers matching rare survivor of the demos!
Completely original, the car has no body work done to it. The only thing the body needs to be pefect is minor rust repair in the bottom corners of the fenders/quarter panels and a paint job. There is no rust in this car anywhere besides that. The trunk still has the original coating in it as you can see in the pictures and floor pans have no rust issues.
The interior is the original White interior with brown dash and carpet. The interior is in great shape. The only flaw in the interior is where the drivers seat is worn through the cover; it would only need new seat covers to make the interior perfect. There are no cracks in the dash whatsoever; not even in the center speaker area.
The 400 engine with 2 barrel carb Runs strong! It is the original engine and carb. The Turbo 350 transmission runs great and shifts nice and firm. New dual exhaust makes it sound mean and sounds great running down the road. As you can see in the pictures the engine compartment is nice and clean. I have the original air cleaner too.
VIN decoding shows it is a Chevy 74 Impala sport coupe with 400-2 barrel carb engine and the car was built in Janesville, WI. Cowl tag shows it is the original Tuxedo black paint. I also have the original window sticker and other documentation as you can see in the pictures. Find another 74 Impala with that!
Comes with new American Racing Hopster 17" wheels with new tires. I have original hubcaps as well.
Car is for sale locally and I may end the auction early if I sell it here in the Des Moines, IA area.
