Description
1965 Chevelle Malibu
SS-TRUE 138 SS Car
Vin # 138375K193692
Motor is a 1969 396ci Big Block (Sounds great), Originally 327/4 Speed
Cast Block # 3955272 (T)
1968 M20 4 Speed Transmission
1964 & 1965 Malibu were very similar with the exception of a few cosmetic changes. With those changes it made these cars 1year production cars. 1966 the body style changed, limiting this body to only two years. New rear quarters, factory rear end, replaced the truck skin and put the front independent front suspension. Below is what has been done to the car since. I was heading in the direction of Pro Touring. I am not sure of miles but as you can see from picture of title it states 18,560 actual Mileage????
Solid floors and trunk. The frame looks as if it were painted. Some areas are beginning to peel though there is no rust. No bondo or patched body panels that I know of. Previous owner took the body to bare metal before paint. I do not think he filled or blocked and sanded prior to paint. I believe that he just primed and painted. Damn straight car for its age.
